Analytics in this browser
Analytics need JavaScript, which is off in your browser, so nothing is collected. To keep them off on later visits with JavaScript on, come back to this page then.
Your choice is saved in this browser's local storage, not in a cookie. If you clear your browsing data, or use another browser or device, make the choice there too.
What they collect
Google Analytics counts page views and a few actions: sending the consultation form, tapping to call or text, asking about a listing, and using the area list and compare tool. It records the page's address, keeping only campaign tags, Google Ads click IDs and the site's own settings (such as the two areas being compared) from anything after a “?”, the site you came from, your browser and device type, and an approximate location that Google works out from your IP address.
Microsoft Clarity records how pages are used, such as clicks, taps, scrolling and mouse movement, and can replay a visit as a session recording. It's set to mask all page text and everything typed into the form, so recordings show blank shapes instead of words.
Neither tool is sent your name, phone number, email address or message. The actions the site reports carry only where on the site they happened, the option you picked on the form (buying, selling, relocating, a second home or not sure yet), an area's short name or a listing's MLS number.
Both set cookies in your browser to recognize a repeat visit: Google Analytics sets _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID, and Clarity sets _clck and _clsk. Microsoft may also set its own cookies on clarity.ms.
When they don't load
Neither tool loads if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, if you turn analytics off on this page, or if you're browsing from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland. They also never load on preview copies of the site.
