However, when an Arizonian really wants to feel like they are on vacation, they typically look to do one thing, and one thing only: Staycation in style!
Arizona is home to some of the world’s most incredible resorts and spas. Not only are they some of the best, but we have quite the selection to choose from. If you’re feeling like a more boutique-style stay, with retro vibes, you may enjoy The Scott Resort and Spa, in Old Town Scottsdale. Or perhaps you want a more lavish, Tuscan-style, experience? In that case, you would check out Omni Resort and Spa at Monte Lucia, in Paradise Valley. Whichever experience fits your vacation (or staycation) style, we have it all!

Sanctuary Resort and Spa – Paradise Valley, Arizona

Sanctuary is one of the more exclusive luxury resorts in Arizona. The property is overgrown with greenery, surrounded by modern architecture, and the panoramic view of Camelback Mountain has to be seen, in order to believe. They are primarily known for their incredible fine dining establishment, Elements. The Asian fusion cuisine is one of the top rated in Phoenix. 
 
The Scott Resort and Spa – Old Town Scottsdale

The Scott Resort is like stepping back in time, and on to the set of the Blue Hawaii, circa 1961. As soon as you step in, you’re greeted by some stunning architecture, and their (very popular) hotel bar The Canal Club. They are closed until July 1st, for some remodeling, but we cannot wait to see what they have done!

Mountain Shadows Resort – Paradise Valley

Mountain Shadows made the list, despite them not having a spa. It was an easy choice considering they offer a luxury that is hard to come by! They offer FREE lodging for your pets! Yes, they are pet friendly, and even bring up a bed, food/water bowls, and treats, upon getting settled! They also have one of the coolest aesthetics of any resort in town. Mid-century vibes, all day!

Omni Resort and Spa at Monte Lucia – Paradise Valley

Omni is one of most popular resort destinations in The Valley. It is easy to understand why when their spa is at the top of our list! The Joya Spa easily has the best amenities of any spa in Phoenix. Between the Himalayan Salt Room, Cold Plunge, and adult pool with service; you feel like the best version of yourself upon leaving!

Arizona Grand Resort and Spa - Phoenix

Arizona Grand is going to be the go-to family friendly destination! Their water park is one of the most popular in Phoenix! It is a HUGE property with multiple pools, sitting areas, and one of the most visited golf courses in town. This resort truly has it all for everyone in the family.

We haven’t even scratched the surface, when it comes to resorts, here, in The Valley.
